The Bossier Schools Distance Learning Program allows students from across the district the opportunity to take courses that may not have been available in the past or on their campus. Each month, two students are recognized for going above and beyond expectations and who care about their academic success. Airline High School's Samira Kandous was selected by the distance learning teachers and facilitators to be the October Student of the Month. Her teacher stated, She always has a great attitude, and works hard to make sure she knows the American Sign Language signs and takes corrections well. She also works well with partners to encourage them, and always has a smile to share.

Airline High School's FCA Leaders attended the Mayor's Prayer Breakfast this morning. Bossier and Shreveport Mayors spoke and special guest, Speaker of the House Mike Johnson also delivered a message.
Students from L to R: Kate Tynes, Anabelle Lucas, Rep. Mike Johnson, Sponsor: Shannon Bothel, Cole Lowe.

All Bossier Schools and Centers will be closed on Tuesday, November 5 for Election Day.

The restricted movement order has been lifted at Airline and normal activities have resumed. This action was taken as a precaution after rumors of a campus threat were circulating . All parties in question have been detained at this time. We thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

AHS parents/guardians: Please be advised Airline High is currently on restricted movement while law enforcement conducts a sweep of the school. We will update you when it is lifted. Until then, checkouts are not allowed. Thanks for your understanding.
